Northern Ireland Assistance Dogs (NIAD)
Charity No. NIC100290

Ways you can help

Volunteering

NIAD is completely run by a team of volunteers and we are always looking for new volunteers/help with fundraising.  If you have a little spare time you could:

  • Volunteer at Street Collections
  • Volunteer at fundraising eventswe are not currently recruiting puppy parents.

Schools & Groups
Perhaps you could invite one of our speakers to visit your school or group to hear for yourself what our amazing dogs can do to help people with diabetes.  WE can usually bring along one of our dogs too! Please contact us via this website.

Adopting Northern Ireland Assistance Dogs as your 'Charity of the Year' means that we can work together to teach staff and customers/members more about dog welfare and disability issues.  You can help to raise money by participating in organised activities like sponsored walks, teddy bear picnics, dress-down days and bad hair days & coffee morning to name but a few.
